A selfish giant had a big garden which was just like a paradise. The garden's ground was covered with long green grass; the garden was full of different kinds of trees which were full of fruits and flowers, and fragrances. The garden was also a dwelling place for various types of birds whose melodious songs were very pleasant to the strangers and the people who lived around the garden. The children whose houses were near the garden were very fond of the garden. They used to play various types of games, climb trees, enjoy the beauty of the garden and made the garden their playground.
One day, the selfish giant who was away from the garden for years came back and found some children playing there. Seeing them playing in the garden he became very angry. "Who the hell are you doing there in my garden?" he shouted loudly. "Leave my garden quickly, or I'll punish you all." Being scared by the loud voice of the giant the children immediately left the garden. The giant built a strong fence around the garden so that the children could never enter the garden.
In the absence of the little angels and in the presence of the selfish and proud giant, birds stopped coming to the garden, grasses on the ground and leaves of the trees began to be pale, flowers stopped blooming and spreading fragrances, and trees began to be fruitless. The whole garden turned into hell as if winter arrived. The giant became very upset and thought, "How a beautiful garden can turn into a winter's ugly barren land covered with frost and snow." He understood his selfishness and felt sad.
One day, the giant again left the garden for a certain purpose. When he returned to the garden after a few months, his mind became fulfilled with joy to see the garden reflecting its lost beauty.
Seeing the giant the children who entered the garden through a small hole became scared and wanted to quit the place quickly. However, the giant wanted to stop them by uttering some pleasant words. But the children couldn't trust the giant, so they ran as fast as they could to leave the garden. At that moment, one of them stumbled and fell to the ground. Getting hurt seriously he couldn't move.
The giant took the little angel to his house and nursed him properly to help him get a quick recovery. He also offered the boy all the delicious fruits to eat and requested the children through the boy to beautify the garden through their regular visits. All the children felt happy about the invitation the giant offered. The giant also became happy to see the smile on their faces.
