About First Assessment:

The students were exposed to multiple facets of grammar through a variety of engaging activities that fostered their learning. Rather than relying solely on lectures, the class was often presented with different challenges that encouraged them to take the class more seriously. Additionally, I provided supplementary resources in the form of YouTube videos, which the students were encouraged to watch. You can find the links to these videos below.

In addition to the grammar instruction, the students were encouraged to become autonomous learners. To achieve this, they were advised to cultivate certain habits, including:

1. Practicing using the language with friends and family members.
2. Attempting to use English as the primary language of instruction in the classroom.
3. Developing the habit of active listening.
4. Reading English books and learning common expressions.
5. Regularly reviewing and recalling the material covered in class. By adopting these habits, the students could further enhance their language proficiency and become more self-sufficient learners.

Insight

Students are advised to maintain a positive classroom environment. The classroom environment is kept safe and welcoming. Open communication and respect for each other are encouraged.

Students are encouraged to actively participate in the learning process. This can include group work, discussions, debates, and role-playing.

As classrooms are blessed with modern technology, we have brought technology into our lesson plans to make them more interactive and engaging. We are expected to enjoy online quizzes, videos, and interactive simulations. 

Students are encouraged to receive specific, constructive, and timely feedback. This will help students improve their work and feel more engaged in the learning process.

I give students opportunities to express themselves creatively through projects, presentations, and other assignments. 

I always try to connect the content to real-life situations, making connections between the content and real-life situations that students can relate to. This will help students see the relevance of what they are learning.

Some gentle words and a sense of humor are intentionally brought into the classroom to keep students engaged and motivated. This can help create a relaxed and enjoyable classroom atmosphere.

Finally, I know that a passionate and enthusiastic teacher can help students become more interested and engaged in the material.
