Bond and James who were in the same class were blossom friends. They used to live in a modern city. One day they decided to enjoy the natural beauty to get rid of the boredom of city life. This led them to a deep and vast forest that was full of ferocious animals. While walking aimlessly, they lost their way. They were walking and walking, but they could not come out of the forest. They became frightened. They made a promise that they would not leave each other in times of danger.
By the way, a bear was approaching them. The moment Bond saw the bear coming toward them, he immediately ran away without thinking anything about James. He quickly climbed a nearby tree and saved himself and felt relief. On the other hand, James didn't know how to climb trees. But he brought his presence of mind into operation. "A bear does not eat a dead body", he informed himself. "I should pretend to be a dead man." Then, he was lying on the earth holding his breath. Bear came to him, smelt over his body, and disappeared without harming him.
Bond climbed down immediately after the bear had left James. Coming close to James, Bond said to James, "What has the bear whispered in your ear, dear friend." "A friend who leaves another friend in danger is not a real friend", James replied. "You should not mix with such a fake friend."
Understanding his selfish act at the time of his friend's danger, Bond felt ashamed and left the place hanging his head down. Really, a selfish friend is useless when we need him.
