On a summer day, a crow became thirsty. So, he was flying here and there in search of water. But he did not find water anywhere. He became too tired to move. He then sat down on a branch of a big tree. Suddenly, he noticed a jar underneath the tree. He quickly flew down to the jar. He found some water in the jar. But he could not reach the water as the water level was very low. He tried to push it down, but he could not because the jar was too heavy for him. So, his idea of turning the jar over was in vain. Feeling very weak and losing all hope, he decided to fly away in despair. The moment he was leaving the jar, he noticed a heap of pebbles around the jar. An idea came to his mind: “It wouldn’t be a bad idea to use this heap of pebbles", he said to himself. He then started dropping these pebbles into the jar one by one. After some time the water level rose up. He then became able to drink water and quenched his thirst. So, where there is a will, there is a way. In other words. necessity is the mother of invention.
