The bar chart illustrates how the density of the population per square kilometer in Bangladesh increased from 2016 to 2022. Overall, the density of the population increased by 157 people per square kilometer at the seven-year interval.
The population density per square kilometer was 1198 in 2016, and it rose to 1220 in 2017. The density continued to climb upward throughout the years. When the density increased by 22 people in 2017, it climbed to 23 people in 2018. We can notice a greater rise in density in the year 2019. The number of people living per square kilometer stood up to 1272 which had 29 people more than the previous year. However, the rise in density decreased to 27 in the year 2020. But it again continued to rise at the end of the period. Both 2021 and 2022 had 28 people more than their previous year respectively. So, while the number of people living per square kilometer stood up to 1327 in the year 2021, the number leaped up to 1355 in the following year. Thus, the bar chart shows a gradual rise in population density between 2016 and 2022.
