We all love our beloved earth. It is the only gift the living creatures should be grateful for. Yes, there is no other known planet or satellite where life can exist. But human beings are trying hard to develop a better communication system to reach other planets and satellites to find if the resources of these planets and satellites can be used for the betterment of the inhabitants of the Earth. Scientists are thinking if the lunar ice can be transformed into drinking water or fuel that can be taken to Mars. They are thinking of the first lunar base that can mine minerals on the moon and can develop permanent life on the Moon. They are working hard to create conditions necessary for dwelling there.

Scientists have invented artificial satellite that has conquered distances on Earth; they have invented space proves that are sent to space to explore other planets and satellites and send information to expend our understanding; they have invented speedy rockets that can take them to space escaping the Earth's gravity. However, they are yet to build any base on the Moon or on Mars. So, thinking beyond Mars has a long way to go. Though no one has reached the Moon since 1972, scientists are expecting to establish a base that will be operational by 2050.

The story of the first manned base may begin with a laboratory. Then, homes and hotels will surely be visible to permanent settlers. Many private companies around the world are developing space tourism businesses. Dennis Tito was the first space tourist. Later, scientists will surely be looking forward to making base on the red planet--Mars.

Scientists will also be looking forward to searching for extraterrestrial life forms. They are thinking and planning how they will react toward the aliens and how the aliens will react towards them if the scientists from the Earth and extraterrestrial creatures meet each other. In fact, scientists are trying to connect extraterrestrial intelligence since UFO sightings were reported by two men from Mississippi. So, scientists have set up the biggest radio telescope at Arecibo in Puerto Rico to send out signals to the intelligent life forms of outer space. The messages consist of 1679 small characters that are expected to be decoded by such intelligent life forms in outer space.

If we become able to make base on the Moon and Mars, mine fuel from the Moon and utilize them, meet intelligent life forms in outer space and if they are technically superior to us and behave friendly to us, our dream will be successful.
